Helps patients recover from injuries, surgeries, or chronic conditions through guided physical exercises, manual therapy techniques, and rehabilitation programs. Works in environments such as hospitals, rehabilitation centers, or private physiotherapy practices, treating patients with musculoskeletal, neurological, or respiratory issues.

Aufgabenbereich:

Responsible for assessing patients' physical condition and functional abilities, then designing individualized therapy plans to improve mobility, strength, and pain management. Performs treatments such as therapeutic exercises, massages, joint mobilization, and use of equipment (e.g., electrotherapy, ultrasound) according to patient needs. Monitors progress, adjusts treatments, and educates patients on exercises to perform at home for continued improvement.

Bildungsanforderungen:

Completed a Physiotherapy degree or Ausbildung (state-recognized physiotherapist qualification in Germany). Registration with the physiotherapy board is required. Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and various therapy techniques. Continuous professional development to stay updated on best practices.
