Stellenbeschreibung:

Performs welding and metal fabrication tasks to join metal components according to specifications. Uses various welding techniques (MIG, TIG, ARC) to assemble structures, pipelines, or equipment, ensuring strong and clean welds.

Aufgabenbereich:

Responsible for preparing metal surfaces (cutting, grinding, fitting) before welding and inspecting finished welds for defects like cracks or porosity. Follows welding procedures and safety protocols to prevent accidents and ensure high-quality joints.

Bildungsanforderungen:

Certified training as a Welder or Metallbauer. Possession of relevant welding certifications (e.g., ISO 9606-1 qualification) is preferred. Good understanding of technical drawings and material properties.

Kernaufgaben:

Read and interpret welding blueprints and symbols; select appropriate welding rods or wire and machine settings; perform welds in various positions (flat, vertical, overhead) as required; grind and finish welds to smoothness; conduct basic maintenance on welding equipment; adhere to PPE and safety guidelines at all times.
